Boston-based real estate development firm Samuels & Assoc. this July launched Hatch Fenway, a 110,000-square-foot startup space at the Landmark Center.
The launchpad has since landed at least two tenants: Toast, an all-in-one restaurant management software company, and Appcues, a web software.
The space at 401 Park Drive was designed to be a bridge for startup tenants that have outgrown incubator or co-working space but don’t feel comfortable signing a long-term lease, Samuels exec Peter Sougarides previously told the Business Journal.
And the space comes with plenty of startup perks, including an in-office swing set (with all-caps letters informing employees to “GET CRACKING” hanging from the swing set bars), ping-pong tables and a corner full of Fatboy bean bags.
